🧶 About Gittis Yarn & Wool

We’re a mother-daughter team with a long history of working wool between our hands and spinning stories into yarn.

What began as a way to stay grounded during the early years of parenting became a shared ritual—spinning side by side, attending fiber festivals, and building a deep respect for the process. Riley started young, carding wool and spinning yarn long before most kids her age even knew what a drop spindle was. Now, we create yarns and blends that reflect that same quiet dedication, with just a bit more edge.

We don’t do trends or mass production. Just small batches, layered textures, and fiber blends that tell stories if you’re willing to listen.

Some are handspun. Some mill-spun. Some rustic, others soft enough to forget what day it is. But all are made with intention—and never rushed.
